7 reasons why you MUST have your own info product
Answer this question: What's the most common reason people get online each and every day? You probably already guessed that it's to find information. Google alone serves up 400 million searches per day! Why should you care? This quest for information is an opportunity for you to fill a need. And when done correctly, you can get paid for it, too!
What is info marketing?
First, understand that this is the simplest kind of business there is. You develop a product that is nothing more than information. And then sell it to people who want to learn the info in it. Pretty simple, wouldn't you say?
But how does it all work?
You've got the basic concept - exchange info for money. But to make it a successful business people need to want the information you're providing. So the key is to figure out what people want. How do you do that?
One easy way to figure it out is with a simple search. Head over to ask.com or Yahoo! answers and look at the questions being asked there. You're looking for popular questions or common themes. For things that are causing people discomfort. Then just give them the answer in your ebook.
Think about this:
Don't worry! Info product creation is easy… Consider this: An info product is just a bunch of articles strung together. Writing a whole ebook can be overwhelming. Just try to write one or two articles a day. And when you've got a few finished, refine and expand on them and voila! You've got an ebook.
Why info products? Well, that bring me to the tile of this article How about 7 reasons why:
1. Simplicity
Once it's built it runs pretty much on it's own. There is almost no support. So you can just set it up and let it run. You're building a completely automated business.
You don't have any inventory. You don't have to ship anything. Your business is 100% digital.
2. Product combos
When you have a created a few information products. You can combine them together to create new high ticket products. It's very easy to package multiple ebooks together as one new one. And your new product will be able to carry a much higher sticker price. There's greater perceived value in a single big course. As opposed to a bunch of little ones.
3. Private label right
When you own the product, you can sell resell rights to it. Resell rights are very hot right now, because it's much easier to get the resell right than to make your own product. Plus, you can charge double, even triple your selling price for resell rights!
4. Leverage
Leverage your ebook by using the content in different ways. Break it apart and create a multi-part email series with it. You can use this to build a list that you can marketing to again and again.
5. More leverage
Utilize your content in as many ways as you can - like creating a few reports from parts of the ebook. Then use these to generate leads for the main product. They can be free or low prices. And you're creating targeted leads for your main product all along. Taking this technique to the max, you can let your affiliate give the reports away for you. Affiliate, you say? Yes!
6. Affiliates
This one is huge. Once you have your own product. You're able to let other people market it for you. Imagine having 100's or 1000's of other people promoting your products. You can't do this unless you have your own product.
7. JVs
OK, this is by far the biggest reason why. Joint ventures are the biggest short cut to success known to man. That makes this is the biggest reason for creating your own info products. Because if you don't have you own product, you've got nothing to JV.
In closing
If you can't see the power of info product marketing, then you haven't been paying attention. You'll become the ruler of your own fate. Because you're 100% in control. So, decide to just start:
- Visit an "answers" site
- See what people are asking about
- Start providing information
The steps on how to write an ebook are really that easy. And in no time you'll have an info product ready to go.
